What is the Sociology Student Forum?
The Forum is a space for staff and students to discuss the Sociology degree (single and joint honours). This more inclusive stage for discussion replaced the 'student staff liaison committee' last year.
Who should go?
Everyone is welcome - all sociology students from all 4 years (single and joint honours) are invited. Members of staff will also participate.
What’s on the agenda?
A light lunch will be served at 13:00 which will be followed by a discussion.
We want to hear about your experience of being a sociology student here – both the good and the bad. It’s just as important to know what to keep as it is to find out what needs rethinking. Here are your programme reps if you’d prefer to have them raise an issue on your behalf:
1st year: Katherine Shaw; Megan Bartley
2nd year: Caroline Stevens; Huatai Cui
3rd year: Marika Luostarinen; Diva Mukherji; Helmi Hirvonen
4th year: Maria Pabolaza Lacambra; Henrik Nielsen; Sarah Peachey
Can’t make it for the whole time?
No problem – drop in for as long as you can.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
